This assignment assesses and strengthens the National Library of Indonesia's institutional organization. It examines whether the structure, resources and processes are proportionate to the Library's functions.
The scope includes human resource and budget analysis, legal and institutional review, and business process development. Methods include literature review, in-depth interviews, expert surveys and focus groups. Deliverables comprise the organizational strengthening study and inception, progress and final reports.
Description of Assignment:
The purpose Research work carried out Strengthening the Organization of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia is to carry out an evaluation and strengthening of the institutional organization of the National Library which is proportional, has the right function and the right size (right sizing) so that it becomes more professional, efficient and effective.
The objective the purpose of this work is:
- Conducting an analysis of the human resource and budget needs of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia.
- Conducting a legal and institutional analysis of the organizational structure of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia that is proportional, has the right function and is the right size (right sizing) so that it becomes more professional, efficient and effective.
- Developing the business processes of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia

- Results of the analysis of the human resources and budget needs of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia;
- Results of legal and institutional analysis of the organizational structure of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia
- Formulation of the business process of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia.
The scope of work This activity is:
- Conducting an analysis of the human resource (HR) and budget needs of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (RI);
- Conducting a legal and institutional analysis of the organizational structure of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia that is proportional, appropriate in function and appropriate in size (right sizing) so that it becomes more professional, efficient and effective;
- Developing the business processes of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia;
- Preparation and preparation of activity plans which include team preparation, initial coordination, and administrative and technical preparation of study activities;
- Conducting surveys and collecting data through literature study methods, in-depth interview, forum group discussion (FGD) and expert surveys;
- Conducting FGD workshop activities that present competent resource persons;
- Conducting HR and Budget needs analysis;
- Conducting legal and institutional analysis of the organizational structure of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia;
- Conducting analysis of the business processes of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia; and
- Compile activity reports consisting of preliminary reports, progress reports, and final reports.
