This assignment supports implementation of national education policies through the provincial education quality assurance institution in West Kalimantan, covering 14 regencies and cities.
The work includes programme planning, advocacy and technical assistance to local governments, monitoring and evaluation, risk assessment and mitigation, and resolution of stakeholder issues. It also covers staff development through mentoring, coaching and training, coordination of consultancy activities, and progress reporting.
Description of Assignment:
The purpose of this activity is to select or procure a consultant for the BPMP of West Kalimantan Province to accelerate both the work process and the results of the strategic work programs of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
The objective The purpose of this Consulting Services activity is to support the achievement of strategic programs. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology through the performance of the West Kalimantan Province BPMP so that it can be accepted and implemented in all regions of the province, districts/cities.

The scope of work for this consulting assignment comprises:
Preparation of the Consultant’s work program plan related to advocacy activities, assistance with Central Government policies to the Regions, monitoring and evaluation in the 14 Districts/Cities in West Kalimantan Province.
Implementation of advocacy, mentoring, as well as monitoring and evaluation of Central to Regional policies in the 14 Districts/Cities in West Kalimantan Province.
Identification and mitigation of the risk of failure of central policy implementation in the regions.
Facing issues, challenges, and potential conflict resolution between stakeholders.
Implementation of Human Resources (HR) development activities of the West Kalimantan Province BPMP through various mentoring/coaching/training approaches, etc.
Providing input for the development of programs, capacity and service innovation of the West Kalimantan Province BPMP.
Conducting socialization and publication of the duties and functions of the BPMP of West Kalimantan Province.
The implementation of other tasks outside the provisions above is in line with the strategic work program carried out by the BPMP of West Kalimantan Province.
Conducting analysis and reporting on all consulting work activities in West Kalimantan Province.
