This assignment supports the preparation of Bogor City's Industrial Development Plan (RPIK). It assesses the industrial sector, potential industrial centres, priority commodities, cluster characteristics and the relationship between small industries and residential areas.
The scope includes regulatory and planning reviews, field surveys, focus groups with businesses, verification and analysis of industrial development data, and comparative visits to cities in West Java with established RPIKs. Findings are documented in inception and final reports.
Description of Assignment:
The purpose of The Bogor City RPIK Preparation Study activity is expected to produce the following studies:
Comprehensive identification of the industrial sector conditions in Bogor city;
Availability of Industrial Centers in accordance with the Bogor City Planning Document;
Availability of industry guidelines to develop;
The direction of development of superior industrial commodities is being formulated;
Availability of industrial thematic designs based on the characteristics of centers/clusters;
Providing direction for the arrangement of small industries in residential areas

The legal basis for the creation of the Regency/City RPIK was collected and processed through studies, field surveys, and focus group discussions (FGDs). The studies were primarily conducted on laws and regulations, the RPJMD, and the Bogor City Strategic Plan (Renstra) in numerical form. The FGDs were held to identify priority industries in Bogor City. The FGDs involved business actors with industrial activities in Bogor City.
Conducting data analysis including updating, classification and verification of the industrial development potential of Bogor City;
Melaksanakan Study Tour to cities in West Java that already have RPIK which aims to examine the process of preparing the RPIK until the issuance of the RPIK Regional Regulation;
Compile the report in stages, preliminary report and final report.
